This week is Alice 150 Celebration and Conference Week in NYC! There are lots of events all over town honoring the 150th Anniversary of the publication of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, I will be MC-ing the final day of the conference, Oct 11 at NYU. We are calling it the "Alice Palooza", and it's a day filled with international presentations about Alice in popular culture. Come one, come all to The Rosenbach of the Free Library of Philadelphia on Tuesday, June 16 for Bloomsday, a day-long reading of James Joyce's famous work, Ulysses. Bloomsday is the final day of the Rosenbach's week-long Bloomsday Festival. This will be my first time participating, and I'm very excited! As a member of the Health and Wellness Committee of Weavers Way Co-op in the beautiful Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, I'm super excited to be part of De-Stress Fest. I will be teaching "Juggling for Stress Relief"--one of my favorite topics. It's this Saturday, April 25, 2015. The Fest starts at 11:30 am, and goes until 4:30 pm (I'm on at 2:30). We'll have mini-workshops on Acupressure, Yoga, Feldenkrais and more. Lunch will also be provided. The event is FREE and open to the public, and takes place at Summit Church (6757 Green St, 19119). Many people complain about stress, but few go and do something about it. My solution, when I was in graduate school and feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders was to add levity to the situation by juggling. International Women's Day was celebrated in fine form at Mt. Airy Art Garage in Northwest Philadelphia, and April + Madison were there performing excerpts from The Twinkle Bat Variations! November 2013

In an absolutely frabjous turn of events, April has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Music in the Department of Fine Arts at La Salle University in Philadelphia! Courses to be taught: The Art of Listening and Early Music. There's likely to be some baroque dance in there somewhere. . . .

We returned to the US after a much-needed vacation to discover that our Madisonnet, "He Died While Still Having So Much More to Say" had indeed been published in the Spring 2013 issue of The Knight Letter, the journal of the Lewis Carroll Society of North America. Callooh! Callay!

We participated in the Celebration Devising Intensive 2013, previewing excerpts from "The Twinkle Bat Variations". Made wonderful new friends, received heart-centered and clear feedback and just had an awesome time learning and growing through play!
